What in the world is this????

I saw this strange, unfamiliar "stuff" today on the way to work, and actually had my camera along. I took a picture, and proceeded to go to work.

It bothered me all day - what was this stuff??

When I got home, I saw more of it - in my front yard, no less. OMG - could it be ???

GRASS. Ugly, brown, beaten down by the weight of 2 months of snow, but grass nonetheless

Spring might ACTUALLY come this year!!

And just think of all the mud!!

Looks like spring will reach your area sooner than mine. Still have about a foot of snow on the ground.

Thanks for the anxiety rush, Wolfy. I haven't seen any of that stuff out my way for quite awhile now.

Hmmm I noticed some dirt today, myself.

Just as soon as it started melting here we are suppose to get more snow. But I love this time of year. Think I'm the only one.

It's going to be 43 degrees here today and tomorrow...hoping to finally see some of that, what do you call it again, grass stuff myself.

Yup, it looks like snow smunched grass. A sure sign of spring. I, on the other hand, only have dirt and shredded Cedar Bark. My sign that Spring is near, is the Hornets are back. Haven't seen any yet.

LOL I have NO IDEA what that is. Yep the mud and potholes are next up. As long as this white stuff is gone that's alright with me.

Hey Mel, sure does appear like your side of the pond is having the worst of winter, mind you the days are getting noticably longer hopefully the snow will soon be a distant memory for you all over there.
Regards,
John
