My Favorite Place(s)

I'm looking out the window at more fresh snow, and, quite honestly, I'm sick of it. So, right here, right now, is definitely NOT one of my favorite places. Which brings us to the beauty of a photo prompt from the OBN which asks us to post a photo of our favorite place. Since I can't narrow it down to one, a few photos will have to do.

This photo quality is poor at best, but I don't care. It is one of my favorite trout streams, a beautiful stream in Utah full of brookies, cuts, cut-bows. I caught my first grayling here as well.

I love high mountain meadow streams full of trout. This Colorado stream, at around 10,200', qualifies.

Fly fishing for arctic sheefish - Inconnu - in the Yukon.

And, finally, a little something to chase away the winter blahs.

Dang Wolfy - I'm envious of the scenery you've been able surround yourself with! I bet I would like some or all of those spots.

Well...definitely a stream in Utah! Good choice there...but, the last one makes you want to be there, huh?

Wow! They are all beautiful but that first one. That one's got me wanting to pack up and go. I can see why it's a favorite!

Lets see, Joe, I am not too far from Utah. Certainly some beautiful pictures here. Would love to spend time on a small trout stream about right now minus all the snow that is out on along the banks. Thanks for sharing.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on the poor quality of the first pic. I think it's fabulous. Even if the quality isn't the best, what a spectacular looking picture. The streams and rivers throughout Colorado and Utah are nothing short of breathtaking and a majority of the landscape is simply beautiful. Really enjoyed the post and loved the assortment of fabulous pictures. Keep em coming.

Gosh I know what you mean, I'm quite bored of snow now and could use some palm trees ;)
